Hi!  I'm Ashley.  13 year insurance industry vet turned wedding photographer & risk management  consultant.

Majoring in Risk Management & Insurance and working in the industry taught me to think strategically about risk, as well as understand & plan for it.  From the time I was three years old, my Mother has worked in the insurance industry, where she currently works today. It was only natural that I follow in her footsteps when it was time for me to go off to college.

Along with helping you protect your business, I am a wedding photographer that really feels blessed to be able to connect with my clients as well as other creative entrepreneurs.  When I don't have a camera or insurance policy in my hand, I'm spending time with my Husband and our daughters.  Yes, I'm a girl mom! Say a little prayer for my Husband will you?  I also have an extreme affinity for the Atlanta Falcons, the TV Show Friends, spa days, podcasts & reading.  I'm a paperback kind of girl.  No kindles around here.

"I want to make sure I am able to pass on the knowledge I have about risk management & insurance to help the industry that gave me the breath of fresh air I so desperately needed. "

WHERE YOU CAN FIND ME

Why I left corporate america to help creatives like you manage their business risks like pros.

Once I decided to officially step away from corporate america to pursue my photography business full time, I still found myself giving insurance advice and cringing every time I saw a Gofundme campaign to replace stolen equipment.

Insurance & thinking about risk has always been a part of my life. Just because corporate america wasn't a fit for the life I wanted to live anymore, didn't mean my love and understanding of the value of insurance went away. So, I decided to merge the two worlds to help creative business owners like you!

I don't simply want to run and protect my own business. I don't think I'm called to do only that. I want to make sure I am able to pass on the knowledge I have about risk & insurance to give back to and help the industry that gave me the breath of fresh air I so desperately needed.

As an insurance professional in corporate america, I helped owners of small to large corporations understand their insurance needs and present creative coverage options tailored for their businesses. As the years went by and I started to build a family with my Husband, I began to realize that for the life I wanted to live, corporate america just wasn't for me anymore.

Like most of you, I started my creative business as a side hustle. I met & learned from so many AMAZING business owners in the creative space, particularly the wedding industry, as I am a Wedding Photographer.

After working with other creatives & investigating the wedding industry as a whole, I noticed so many creatives were not only misinformed about insurance, many of them simply weren't covered. As a matter of fact, I couldn't believe Insurance was not being discussed in business settings at all!
